Kyoshi Sid Rayford Promoted to 8th Dan

On Saturday, 4/9/2011, Kyoshi Sid Rayford was given the rank of Hachidan (8th Degree Black Belt) from WOSKKA President Hanshi Dan Tosh.  The ranking ceremony was held in the WOSKKA Hombu Dojo of Hanshi Dan Tosh in Brentwood, California.  Other Black Belts promoted were George Del Cid (7th Dan), Mike Nguyen (3rd Dan) and Jeff Mires (3rd Dan).

UC Merced Students

UC Merced students that train with Sensei Mike Nguyen also received various kyu level promotions.  The UC Merced Students also train with Kyoshi Sid in the Thursday evening traditional weapons class.
